Taxi in Dubrovnik and transfers from Čilipi airport

Dubrovnik is Welo’s home region. We drive around the city, to Čilipi airport and across southern Dalmatia — from Cavtat and Župa dubrovačka to Mokošica, Orašac and Ston.

From Čilipi airport to the Old Town

Dubrovnik airport sits in Čilipi, about 20 km southeast of the Old Town. The drive takes roughly 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic on the coastal road and the season.

If you land late at night or leave early in the morning, reserve the ride in advance — the driver waits with your name and you do not depend on the taxi queue.

Rides around the city

The Old Town is closed to traffic, so drivers stop at the nearest gates — Pile, Ploče or by Buža. The most common rides are Lapad to the Old Town, Gruž (cruise and ferry port) to the Old Town, and Babin kuk to Pile.

We drive up to Srđ and Bosanka by road when the cable car is closed for wind or maintenance.

What it costs

Southern Dalmatia is priced from a start fare that covers the first few kilometres, then per kilometre. You see the amount before you confirm. Current values per region are on the prices page.
